ABOUT JOHN PALECKI STRUCTURES
I develop these kits myself in the beautiful Roanoke Valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I use prototype information
from a variety of sources to create designs that are as close to actual engineering practice as possible. The kits are
based on the specific prototype but are adjusted as needed for modeling realities. I also make the kits so they are
straightforward to assemble with good modeling skills. I think they are unique, innovative and just plain cool. If you
have any questions about them please email for the best response.
Cast kits are produced in-house (literally) in Virginia using American chemical suppliers. I make my own CAD patterns
and then scratch-build the masters. I also developed new molding and casting techniques to make the small, thin
parts. I am pleased to be an American small business entrepreneur.
My kit descriptions are as thorough and accurate as possible. I also pack the kits myself. I am happy to replace a
defective part if one made it into a kit. Let me know how I can help with assembly questions, part issues, equipment fit
questions or prototype inquiries.
My wife Becky helped with web design, business concept and shares my enthusiasm for individual creativity (and
supports my interest in trains too). Her hobby is writing novels. If you know a good agent please email me!
