ABOUT
Q&A
Here is an impressive bridge that will
handle your heaviest mainline rolling stock.
I am proud to present my first kit!  It is a solid
riveted steel Warren truss built in the early
1930's during the heyday of railroad bridge
construction.  The bridge has a great, sturdy
look with large riveted beams and laced bracing.
The model is based on a prototype that spans
the West River in Brattleboro, Vermont.  The
Central Vermont and Boston & Maine railroads
shared it for years, and it is still in regular use
today.

Model Features:
  • Thin-section etched brass plates
  • Thousands of rivets in realistic
    patterns
  • Scale proportioned beams
  • Ample double-stack clearance
  • Beam-by-beam assembly
  • 25" total length

Kit Statistics:
  • 386 parts etched in brass
  • 8 separate part frames
  • 650 total square inches of etched
    brass
  • 22 beam assemblies per truss side
  • 2 builder's plates
  • 66 page instruction manual
  • Full size assembly drawings
